Invertigation?
So what is Invertigation? When you start listening to one of Australia's best ever rock bands, Invertigo, you'll begin to be transported into a whole new world. The music sucks you into another dimension and you'll start to feel all warm and tingly inside. When you get to the point where you cant get through your day without listening to one of the bands groovy hitz, then you know you have become invertigated. This feeling of being invertigated is also know as "Invertigation" |
Who Are Invertigo?
Invertigo are a rock band consisting of 4 members; Christian Argenti (Vocals), Gerry Leigh (Guitar/Vocals), James Leigh (Guitar/Keys), and Vince Leigh (Drums)....and yes the three "Leighs" are brothers!
Invertigo came together in 1999 when Christian Argenti responded to an advertisement in the paper for a singer, placed by the Leigh Brothers.
They released their debut single, "Desensitised" in June 2000 and managed to keep it in the Aria Chart for a massive 4 months. Desensitised was one of the most played songs on radio of the millennium year.
Invertigo followed this brilliant single up with the top 20 hit "Chances Are" in February 2001. Outdoing their previous achievement, "Chances Are" remained in the top 100 for a mega six months.
"Say You Do" was released in June 2001 and again, plunged into the Top 20 list. This third remarkable single from the band was to be the final single release prior to the unveiling of their debut album "Forum", which was finally released in July, entering the Aria's at #11.

Did You Know?
* Did you know that "Forum" was named 'Best CD of the Week" by major newspaper "The Sunday Herald Sun".
* Did you know that before Christian Argenti joined the group, The three Leigh Brothers, along with vocalist Hugh Wilson, were in a group called "Vertigo"
* "Vertigo" needed to change their name to Invertigo when Christian joined because there was already a band by the name of Vertigo in the States
* "Invertigo" means nothing...don't believe me? Just ask Christian :) |

I really wanted to get Christian's attention that night, so I foolishly removed my bra and flung in at him. It just so happened to land on his shoulder that way, lol.
And that is how I became The Bra Girl!
